Still remember the Mattel’s Mindflex game that showed at the CES months ago? A game that place the ball through the hoops by mind power? The was game reported shipping on October 1st. However, before you can get that one, Another Brainwave toy that got unveiled at the Toy Fair 2009 earlier this year is the cool Star Wars Force Trainer.  And now it is now officially on sale!

The Star Wars Force Trainer also utilizing the same technology developed as Mattel’s Mindflex.  It comes with a headset that uses brain waves to allow players to manipulate a sphere within a clear 10-inch-tall training tower, analogous to Yoda and Luke Skywalker’s abilities in the Star Wars films.

So this is how it work:

The wireless headset reads your brainwaves through dry sensor technology and can determine the differences between alpha, beta, gamma and delta waves. This allows a chip inside the Force Trainer to use an algorithm to interpret the data and translate it to physical action, which in this case moves the Training Sphere into different sections of the cylinder.
