The Bossa Nova Prime 8 Gorrilla Robot is the fastest robot we ever seen! Its massive arms are actually wheels that can spin in tandem or separately to steer, dance or just act crazy. Hidden inside its yellow body are two plastic feet that glide out when Prime-8 wants to stand up. This remote-controlled robot includes infrared sensors on its front and back that it uses to “see” other Prime-8s and navigate its environment and guard your home. If you attach its spring-loaded rubber dart guns, it’ll shoot at anything that moves.

Prime-8 is also full of sensing technology that allows him to ’see’ the world and ‘understand’ himself. This allows him to autonomously explore his environment, interact with the user, and correct himself automatically if he falls. Prime-8 has over 90 animations and features. There are 5 different action games he can play and he’s fully programmable to do your own tricks., from shoot lazers, fire missiles, protect your room and loads more.

Maybe influenced by Wii, this robot uses infrared controllers have built-in tilt sensors and accelerometers to detect when you move your hands. So when you punch, the robot punches. It interpreting your hand motions to execute left jabs and right hooks as you attempt to outbox your opponent. The punches is targeting middle of robot’s chest, as you successfully give a hit, it will display a “hit” on the four-LED display just above the target.
“this floor-washing robot can handle up to four average-size rooms (250 square feet) on a single battery charge. Simple to operate, just fill the tank, press “clean,” and empty the tank when finished. Its four-stage cleaning process includes the prep stage, which picks up dirt, sand, and crumbs; the washing stage, which uses only clean solution (mops just spread around dirty water); the scrubbing stage, which removes dirt, grime, and stuck-on messes; and the drying stage, which squeegee-lifts dirty water from floors. The cleaning machine uses clean tap water, a water and vinegar mixture, or deep-cleaning, fresh-scented Clorox Scooba cleaning solution. With the press of a button, the robot will leave floors clean, dry, and ready to walk on.”

If you have no idea what gift for your wife coming birthday, buy this and I think she will appreciate it.

The ‘Asahi BeerBot AKA Asahi Robocco’ is a beer pouring robot. It can store and refrigerate up to six cans of your favorite brew. Its features include: a programmable voice, (male, female or even custom) a cleaning mode, and a child lock to keep your toddlers sober. Included in the package are two custom glass mugs, 6 foam cup bases, plastic floor protector and instructions in English and Japanese.

Asahi maybe is the most useless and yet at the same time most incredible use of robotic technology. However, it is indeed really cute!
