This Lasonic i931 reminds me the cassette player at my home when I was a kid. If you born early of 80’s or even earlier than that then you definitely have saw this kind of music player. 80’s hip hop’s lovers use to carry this kind of music player on their shoulder and do the break dance on the street. And it was the coolest thing at that moment.

However this Lasonic i931 is not for cassette anymore. Instead it is portable music system for iPod dock, usb port, or SD/MMC card slot. This is a radio that made from the scrap lumber generated from the production of Java ebony. Its retro look reminds me a radio that I saw at my grandma house. It’s similar but not made from wood. Nowadays, we seldom see radio like this anymore. Having this radio in your house maybe will recall back your sweet old days.
