Sanwa Throat Microphone

Well, this is not something new. The throat microphones already been used by elite military forces around the world. However the Japanese company Sanwa make it available to the public.

This microphone wraps around your neck just like a necklace. It is designed to offer better voice clarity by picking up the vibrations as you speak at your throat and transmits very clearly through the mic.

Although this throat microphone can deliver high quality sound, but the design is a bit silly. It would be better if the designer make it more stylish.

I don’t like to drink coffee, but when I found this Handpresso, I think this would be useful for those who are espresso aficionado.

This Hanpresso is a gadget that let you making espresso at any where. The portable gadget need no electricity, small and convenient therefor you can have your Handpresso travels with you on vacation/business trips. The gadget is easy to use, just use the handle to pump in air up until you reach 16 bars of pressure. Then pour the hot water and press the release button. It then dispenses espresso with crema on top.

This handheld, mobile espresso machine certainly sounds impressive. It really can’t be any more hassle free than that!

HRP-4C – Fashion Model Robot

Guess who is the next top model? Well, I guess the next top model is not a human. In fact it maybe a robot that called HRP-4C.

The HRP-4C is robot that can talk and walk. Its function not to serve people like we seen in movie, in fact it is a fashion model that will make her catwalk debut next week at the Tokyo fashion show on the 23rd March 2009.

Developed by Japan’s National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology, the HRP-4C consists 42 motors, at just over 5 feet tall and 95 pounds in weight and cost about $3 million!

Although it is costly and far from behave like a real human, but it is a big step in robot industry. Maybe soon we will see the robot act exactly like human.

First, I thought it was a ordinary robot face watch, but it it wasn’t.look carefully, that was a Cassette tape face by.

I especially love how the cassette reels have become the separate hour and minute displays on the analog clock. This stainless steel novelty watch can be found from UK-based Internet retailer ASOS.

This is only been seen on comedy spy movie – a shoe’s mobile phone. Now it is come for real. An Australian IT expert Paul Gardner-Stephen invent it, It allows users to make and receive calls simply by sliding back each heel to operate the gadgets. Just wish your legs don’t have disgusting smell.

However, Gardner also considering developing a spin-off medical version complete with equipment for measuring pulse, blood pressure and other medical information could be stored in shoes. It could also be adapted to house an alarm to alert carers if an elderly person falls ill at home.
