Guess who is the next top model? Well, I guess the next top model is not a human.  In fact it maybe a robot that called HRP-4C.

The HRP-4C is robot that can talk and walk. Its function not to serve people like we seen in movie, in fact it is a fashion model that will make her catwalk debut next week at the Tokyo fashion show on the 23rd March 2009.

Developed by Japan’s National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology, the HRP-4C consists 42 motors, at just over 5 feet tall and 95 pounds in weight and cost about $3 million!

Although it is costly and far from behave like a real human, but it is a big step in robot industry. Maybe soon we will see the robot act exactly like human.
