This is a most novelty way to promote a new book – a story printed on toilet paper.  The idea seems funny, but it will not make you laugh when read the story. Because the story on the paper is a horror story.

Koji Suzuki, the author of the ‘toilet paper fiction’ was famous by his  American remake Japanese horror movie “The Ring”  which was originally called “Ringu”. And his latest work, Drop, another horror story, is in skull scroll format. The thing is seriously being marketed as “Japan’s creepiest toilet paper” and will be released over here on June 6. One roll (double layer, 100% recycled paper, 30m)  of this toilet paper will cost you $2,20. What make me impressed is there is a “toilet paper design company” (no joke) called Banbix design this stuff.  Can’t imaging that there is a company really do toilet paper design work.

However, I still prefer funny story this paper instead of the scary one.  At least, it will not make me feel creepy when I get into my toilet.
