Star Wars no doubt is one of the greatest cult movie in the world, of course there are plenty of books that regarding about this movie. But this Sounds of Star Wars isn’t an ordinary book that you see. In fact, it is an interactive book with a little speaker-machine attached to the side so you can type in a number corresponding to a certain sound from the movies to hear it, along with how it was made.

New York Times best-selling author J. W. Rinzler reveals the illuminating history of the sounds that make the Star Wars universe so believable, as recounted by their creator, legendary sound designer Ben Burtt. An attached sound module with an exterior speaker and headphone jack lets readers listen to more than 250 unique sound effects, and more than 300 photographs illustrate the many memorable scenes.

The Autosports Edition custom pool table goes to show that when money and creativity mix, the end result can be some of the coolest toys imaginable.

This luxury item designed by Hurricane billiards consists of a pool table set on top of a chromed steel frame and mounted on four chrome rims that have been enveloped in low profile rubber.

The table top itself is finished with tournament quality black felt and leather trimming. To further customize the pool table, a light kit of 1000 different colors is included.

There is no word on pricing but I’m sure that it would be astronomical.

CyCab – Driverless Car By INRIA

Driverless vehicles are already has been discussed for many years. Unfortunately most of them are still at the conceptual stage, we are not seeing those real driverless vehicles on the road for real, except those we saw on the movies one. However, this CyCab is the one nearest to production.

Developed by French company INRIA over 10 years, the Cycab is just looks like a golf cart. It uses a laser to avoid obstacles in its pathand a dual-lens camera to follow road markings. It can even be navigated from a mobile phone.

The Cycab remind me the KITT car from the popular TV series Knight Rider, which starred David Hasselhoff, which is the car has an automated voice gives information to passengers along the route. Beside of that each CyCab also communicates via the internet which allows vehicles to share information so that they can follow one another at a small distance, or surf the web and gather real-time traffic information so that they can avoid traffic jams.

CyCab is not quite ready for mass production, but it should see some uses in the near future. In fact, the ULTras, the British version of the CyCab will appear to be used to transport passengers from Heathrow’s Terminal 5 in November of 2009. But before that, let’s take a look of this car at the demonstration’s video first.

I don’t know beer can become other things besides being a beverage until I found soap that made from beer!

It weird, but it’s true. I don’t how does it smell of this flavored soap is. But I think the smell of beer will remains in this soap. It available in variety of brand of beer, including Foster’s, Guinness and Samuel Adams.

Not recommended for baby use, they might be swallow the alcoholic carelessly.
