The flash drive uses XTS cipher mode and also uses elliptic curve cryptography (ECC) algorithms to meet Suite B standards approved by the U.S. government. It supports hardware-based 256-bit AES-XTS and Suite B cryptography, including ECC. Suite B algorithms were specifically selected and approved by the U.S. government and the Department of Defense for use in multinational data sharing environments including both classified and unclassified applications.

FIPS 140-2 certification requires a validation process that meets federal requirements set by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). This is critical because many governmental agencies in the United States mandate that sensitive “data at rest” (i.e., all information not in the network) must be encrypted with the FIPS 140-2 standard. Level 2 means the DataTraveler 5000 has a tamper-evident construction which acts to notify any users if their drive has been tampered with. It also has a power-on self test that verifies the encryption mechanism is running properly each time the drive is plugged into a USB port.

The Heinz Beanzawave is the world’s smallest, portable microwave oven from the American food company Heinz. It’s allow workers tied to their desks to create a warm snack, or hot drink, to see them through the day. This small but hot device, measuring 7.4(H) x 6.2(W) x 5.9(D) inches, can be powered via a link to the USB port on a laptop computer. Not really clear how’s this work, but we will see it when this prototype make into real product.

The Beanzawave can cost you as much as your home microwave. It expected to be sell in a price tag around $160.

So, why don’t we skip all these step, directly turn your waste paper to toilet paper, in your office!

Japenese company Nakabayashi has created this machine which turns used copier paper into toilet rolls, right there in the office. It takes 1800 sheets of copier paper and two hours to make 2 rolls of toilet paper. It will be on the market in August starting from Japan with the price tag of of $95,000.
